Kaasareitten synkkaaminen kuuntelemalla

Boxerworksin foorumilla oli vähän aikaa sitten hyvä topic koskien synkronoimista. Paras ehdotus meni näin:
"Once you feel like it is idling rather well on both cylinders, slowly turn one of the throttle stop scews in a half turn and then back out up to a full turn. If you do this slowly, you will feel and hear a point where it becomes the smoothest. It will only sound 'right' over a very narrow range of the adjustment. Trust your eyes and ears. Just go slowly back and forth, there is only one 'magic' spot.
Once the idle is set, manually very slowly and very slightly pull on only one throttle cable, see what happens? it starts to shudder. ok let go.
Now pull slowly and slightly on the other, see what happens. it also makes it shudder.
You have to set the cables so when you slightly roll on the twistgrip, that shudder you just observed when pulling only one cable no longer happens because both are pulling evenly.
Say you are idling at 1000rpm with the throttle closed, the important thing is that it remains smooth, no shuddering, when slowly raising the rpm to 1200-1300.
There is no need to rev it any higher than that to sync them."
